Description
The Trithrinax campestris is not a very well known palm, it forms dense masses of stems of 6 feet or more tall, provided with a crown of green shiny leaves with white flowers and fruits.
It can grow up to
15 feet tall. The stems are covered with a band of fibres with spines.

Location
The palm is native of Argentina and Uruguay, it grows naturally in dry soils. This specie is very exotic and rare.
This palm is very hardy and resistant, interesting for subtropicals and warm regions, with warm climate.


Features
This species forms a compact clump of trunks massed with attractive blue-green fan leaves that are fuzzy white on the upper surface.
This palms requires sun and moisture. The
growth is slow.

Culture
These hardy palms require full sun and ample moisture. They seem quite hardy, with specimens growing in the tropical, subtropical and warm temperature zones.
